Develop the Powerful Potential Within

When God created you and me, He breathed the breath of life into us and then put a little part of Himself in us. We are created in his image and filled with His potential— a potential to do the impossible. There is a gold mine of potential hidden deep within every person and you are no exception.

     Potential is "greatness that exists as a possibility but not yet reality." In other words, a person who has potential has all the necessary ingredients to be successful, but the ingredients have not been activated, it's like knowing there is a huge vein of gold hidden in the earth in your yard. But in order to get to it and fully benefit from its tremendous value, you have to do some deep digging.

   Each of us has been created for a purpose, a reason, but if we don't know what it is or what we want, our untapped potential stands idle. In that case we become like a unique all powerful computer whose new operator has lost the instruction manual and therefore cannot make use of the computer's full capacity.

Albert Einstein once said that every child is born a genius. You have the ability to perform at exceptional levels in at least area of your life if you can find it. You need to motivate yourself daily to take the necessary action needed to bring to the surface the treasure that is within you.

     To a great extent, our God-given potential is directly connected to our dreams and visions. God plants them in our heart, or spirit, as a seed in the form of a thought or desire. Over time, the seed grows as we feed it, being very careful to watch over and protect it from the enemy who is the master at stealing dream seeds.

   In conclusion, we are given life and our purpose should be to make a success of it— and that success can only be measured by comparing what we actually achieve with what we are potentially able to achieve.
