Plan and Prepare Diligently Before You Begin

In order to get the results you want (in every area of your life), you must desire to, plan to, and make the necessary effort to get it. You have to plan every step upward to your own high mountaintop, and it is worth mentioning that a good plan is like a road map: it shows the final destination and usually the best way to get there. Here are 25 key reasons why you should plan and prepare diligently before you begin taking steps toward your goals (in every area of your life): 1.     That's what the scripture says: "Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets so he may run who reads it…" — Habakkuk 2:2 (RSV) 2.    Courage and confidence to do what you've planned (in every area of your life) comes through practice. 3.     It helps you to prepare yourself psychologically in terms of resolve and discipline. How to Imagine the Outcome You Want

Image
The “big picture” is the end result or the outcome you want. They literally practice in their imagination. They see the end result. Yes, you are the one to do this activ...

The problem is since the picture of reality is so vivid in your mind you may find it difficult to imagine the outcome you want.  To solve this problem, set aside 10 minutes before you begin doing anything you want to do and imagine how you’ll feel when the job is done. Allow yourself to feel the feelings you’ll feel once you accomplish what you’ve set out to do – whether it is satisfaction, pride, happiness, excitement, or simply relief. This gets the good feelings flowing and motivates you to do whatever it takes to make it a reality, and experience it “for real”. Too often, however, we do not use the process of visualization to our advantage. Our imagination is not there to make us afraid all the time, to be filled with worries, doubts, and fears. It is to get a jump on the futu...
