Capture and Replace Every Negative Thought in Your Mind Immediately

According to medical science, 87 to 95 percent of current physical and emotional illnesses come from our thought life. Thoughts repeatedly sown will be reaped in physical manifestation and what we think will determine how we function spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

The problem is that you may have random nagging thoughts that are not exactly worries but irritating thoughts. As a result, they distract you from focusing on the task at hand. If you don't deal with these thoughts (by capturing and replacing them) they could throw your brain into a frenzy of broken feedback loops, disrupting the natural flow and balance of chemicals in your brain and body. This in turn will affect your emotional and physical state.

To solve this problem, capture each negative thought that comes to your mind the moment you notice random thoughts, nagging at you while you are working on your objectives, by writing them down on paper. As you write these thoughts on paper, don't worry about making them neat or orderly just scribble them out. Then, affirm out loud that you are setting them aside so that you can focus on the task at hand in order to do it excellently.

Moreover, you can replace the negative thought with a positive one using affirmations and conditioning statements. For example, you may have hidden nagging thoughts telling you that working on your goals is a waste of time and energy because you don't have what it takes to succeed. If this is the case, you can counter this thought with: "I believe I have what it takes to succeed" or something similar. I've found that by saying "I believe", it gives no room to any negative voice in my mind that may try to question my affirmation. So, I urge you to include "I believe" at the beginning of every affirmation you create.

The truth is that anyone can unconsciously slip into the habit of thinking negatively. This can be overcome when you view yourself objectively, recognize you are thinking negatively, discover the underlying cause of the negative thought, resolve to root out each negative thought and replace it with a positive one (in every area of your life) using affirmations, conditioning statements and mental images of what you want.

To Your Success,
