Push yourself harder
Are you feeling unmotivated because you feel you’ve not done your best, or have cheated yourself? There is no doubt that doing less than you know you can do will cause all kinds of guilt feelings manifesting themselves in certain ways. When people feel they have not done their best they feel they have cheated themselves— and they start to rationalize why they didn't perform as they know they were capable of. This leads to a shift in personal responsibility to blaming external circumstances and opens the door wider for negative thinking to take control of the individual.
To solve this problem, always extend yourself to full capacity. Most of us have the habit of coddling and pampering ourselves rather than pushing ourselves to be better and do better. You can trick your mind to believe that you can do more in a short time. For example, if you think that you can take an hour to finish a task or goal, make it your mission to finish it in 30 minutes. If you think you are capable of a certain amount of output, push yourself harder to increase that output by at least half. When you decide to accomplish what you want effectively in the shortest amount of time possible, your motivation will be boosted to rise up to the challenge.
Stay Motivated and Positive,
